Mother’s Day Walk in Horsham

For over 10 years the Horsham Mother’s Day Walk has welcomed thousands of walkers and runners and has raised tens of thousands of dollars in an effort to raise awareness, gather community spirit and show our support to all the woman each day who are diagnosed and fight breast cancer.

What began as a handful of local moms who are passionate about supporting the cause but found it difficult to travel to Philadelphia for the annual “Race for the Cure” has grown to our annual Horsham Mother’s Day Walk at Deep Meadow Park, Horsham, PA. For years we were able to send to Susan Komen thousands of dollars supporting their efforts in fighting breast cancer.

In recent years we have have been fortunate to partner with Unite for Her, a local non-profit organization committed to serving local woman diagnosed with breast cancer and their families.  Each year Unite for Her provides complementary therapies like yoga, nutrition, acupuncture, massage and much more to recently diagnosed breast cancer patients.

The Horsham Mother’s Day Walk began a program several years ago through the generosity of Unite for Her to offer one local woman each year who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer a $1,000 grant.  We could not be more proud to show our local community how much we care and reach out to one of our own and their family with this grant. THANK YOU Unite for Her.

Each year we are amazed by the numbers of people who join us in our efforts to make a difference, we could not do it without the support of our friends, families, all of the new walkers and runners that join us in each.  Together we can and will make a difference in the lives of so may.

There is no preregistration for the walk and a minimum donation of $15.  All proceeds will benefit Unite for Her.
